Never Lie or No One Will Believe You!

This is Ben and his older sister Sarah. Their mother asked them both to take out the rubbish.

“I will!” yelled Sarah.

“I will!” yelled Ben in a loud grumpy voice but he went and watched Tv. Ben’s mother found him in the living room and said, “Go to your room!” and she growled like a wolf.  

“Oh man!” yells Ben.  

“Well you're grounded for 7 years,”  said his mother.

“Oh double man!” yelled Ben again. “I'm gonna do my homework or jobs or chores,” said Ben.  “And I won’t lie again.

Pirate Story

Once upon a time there was a pirate named Cubby.  He sailed the seven seas.  He had a crew.  In his crew he had mates, called Jake, Izzie and Skully.  Skully the parrot saw an island!. The island was called Neverland.  On Neverland the treasure was on a mountain called Neverpeak Mountain where the x marks the spot.  They got to the island and they looked at the map.  They knew they were at the right island so they went to Hutt Valley.  Next they went to Goldland, where the forest was made out of gold and diamonds. But they had a problem as there was too much fog and they couldn't see.  They found the mountain where the treasure was.  The treasure was gold and crowns  for each of them. They sailed back to their hide out and had a big celebration.  They all said goodnight and went to sleep.

a blue jay
spied through
the window
and stood
on a tree.

In the evening
a toucan popped
on the window
and looked
through the
glass.

At midnight
a lion
jumped up
to the
roof and
sat there for
hours and hours.

I expect to hear
his loud
roaring voice
from my
room.
